about the author
Stan Beatty is a multi-award-winning Canadian photographer with over 45 years of professional experience. His studio, Stanley B Photography, spans nearly every genre—landscape, portrait, commercial, wildlife, and fine art.
His images have been published in Canadian and international magazines and exhibited in galleries in Chicago, Philadelphia, Barcelona, Johannesburg, and Delphi, India, and several other International galleries.
Stan’s creative philosophy:

This brand new photo book, Canada Proud “Coast to Coast” is a timely collection of photographic works of art. One can only assume this to be a labour of love by award-winning photographer, Stan Beatty, from Windsor, Ontario.
Stunning photos taken from different parts of Canada have been artistically arranged and bound into a hard-covered book worthy of anyone’s coffee table!
I spent my first evening with the book gazing at the photos and re-visiting the ones that spoke to me. They touched my soul, made me gape in awe and at times, laugh out loud.
The written descriptions are insightful and personable, really drawing me in, like a good novel. This encouraged me to keep reading from beginning to end in one sitting (a rare quality for a photo book).
Thank you, Stan, for all your hard work and thoughtful descriptions. I can’t wait to see what you do next!

Canada Proud by Stan Beatty is a passionate and visual look at Canadian identity, culture, and national pride. This book of Canadian imagery is written from a strongly patriotic perspective, emphasizing traditional values, respect for Canada’s history, and concern over what the author sees as cultural and political changes that threaten national unity. This book should be on your coffee table as it captures epic Canadian images from coast to coast that many Canadians will never get to see. The beauty of wild and urban Canada is packaged nicely in Beatty's book. Beatty's superb photographic skills are amazing and we are indeed lucky that he shares them with us in his book. Overall, Canada Proud is best suited for readers interested in patriotic commentary and conservative perspectives on Canada’s future. This book is especially relevant considering the current " 51st state" rhetoric we see from the United States President. I will indeed purchase additional books for gifts as I see fit for my friends and family. Well done Mr. Beatty.

This book includes images going back to the 1980s, it has been a lifetimes work, passion and learning that is still going on. Stay tuned for my next travel pictorial book, already in the works, yet to be titled. Due out October 2026.

40 Remarkable Lives is an inspirational collection of
stories about exceptional lives lived. The story of how
each of these individuals rose above life's challenges
and adversities. This book, accompanied by portraits,
has been created to honour lived experiences - without
spectacle, performance, or expectation.
This book is not about achievement alone, nor is it
defined by adversity. It is about what remains after
living: clarity, wisdom, resilience, and authenticity.
My hope is that this book will inspire others who
are on similar journeys. This is a 1 year project as a
fundraising effort by Stanley B Photography to support Oneday Dreams, The Alzheimer's Society - ASWE and the Windsor Regional Hospital Breast Health Clinic. Help support the work of these organizations by subscribing to this site to receive information on this project.
